On the 20th of May shortly before 2 AM Cst. Peter Brunette of the North Bay Police Service saw a stalled vehicle at Main and John Streets. He went over to investigate and saw drug paraphernalia on the floor of this vehicle. Upon further investigation he located what appeared to be a small quantity of cocaine along with other items. The occupants were then arrested.
Laura BAILEY 31 years old of Hardy St. is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance.
William LATOUR 28 years old also of Hardy St. is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and Drive while Prohibited.
Both were kept in custody for a bail hearing.
