Classes Are In Friday

Children hoping for a long weekend will be unhappy to learn that classes resume to normal Friday morning.

The Near North District School Board released a statement earlier stating talks will also resume in the morning as well.

With the return of elementary occasional teachers to our schools on Friday, May 12, 2006, all elementary schools will be open. Buses will run as normal.

Negotiations with the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario Near North Occasional Teachers’ Bargaining Unit will resume on Friday morning.
