North Bay Blooms Chair Maureen Ranger was delighted to recognize Canadore College as this week's Business Garden of the Week.
While designed and planted by the North Bay Horticultural Society each spring, the gardens are maintained and landscaped by Canadore students during the summertime.
Not only do they enjoy the physical activity of exercise while gardening and learning about flowers and landscaping, it is also a great social activity for the students according to a news release.
"Set against the backdrop of the pond the flower beds have made a grade backdrop for thousands of graduation photos over the years," says Ranger.
"Congratulations and a tip of the trowel to Canadore for making North Bay look great, not just to our local students, but to people from across the province and these days from across the world."
