Hydro One says almost 10,000 customers are in the dark across wide areas of Ontario this morning.
Locally we are seeing an outage that runs from Marten River to South River and from Sturgeon Falls to East Ferris. In Bonfield about 20 customers are affected. Another outage south of Commanda is affecting 4,700 customers according to Ontario Hydro.
Hydro says 29 outages affecting 9,801 customers are presently being attended to by crews.
The estimated time for local restoration is 10 a.m. but for some areas, it's Dec 20 at 4 p.m.
Hydro One does not give a reason for the massive outage.
