Canadore hands out $570,000

Canadore College got caught up in awards season as they hosted host its 37th Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony on Thursday in the Education Centre Gymnasium.

Over 175 students were recognised for their hard work, dedication and academic excellence the students received awards, bursaries and scholarships worth over $570,000.

The scholarships are sponsored by businesses, professional associations, community groups, memorials, staff, faculty, alumni and involved citizens.
