Callander man arrested for impaired driving

A North Bay OPP officer was conducting RIDE on Highway 11 and Lakeshore Exit in the city of North Bay in the early morning hours of Sunday, January 25th, 2009. As a result, Mark Andrew Samuel, 34 years old, of Callander, Ontario was arrested for Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle. His vehicle was towed and SAMUEL escorted back to the North Bay OPP Detachment where he was charged with Fail to Provide Breath Sample, as per section 254(5) of the Criminal Code. SAMUEL is scheduled to appear for court in North Bay on March 3rd, 2009.

On Friday, January 24th, 2009, two 12 hour suspensions were issued by North Bay OPP officers. First suspension was served on Highway 11 in the city of North Bay and the second on Centennial Crescent in the township of East Ferris.
