The paving contractor will be closing Booth Road from Lakeshore Drive to Ferris Drive to through traffic beginning Monday, September 16 to expedite the rehabilitation of Booth Road says a city news release.
Traffic will be detoured down Ferris Drive during the construction period.
Although this section of Booth Road will be closed, access will be maintained for locals that require access to their property within that section.
Booth Road will be re-opened every evening and weekend when the contractor is not performing work.
Weather permitting, work is anticipated to be completed by September 20 at which time Booth Road will be re-opened to through traffic.
