On the 2nd of Sept. shortly before 8 PM a woman walking in a laneway between King St. and Victoria St. was accosted by another woman who was trying to steal her purse.
She fought back and Csts. Peter Brunette and Greg Dix of the North Bay Police were passing by and stopped and arrested the attacker.
Lara GANNON 40 years old of McIntyre St. is charged with Robbery and was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
