Between 1:30 PM and 3:40 PM someone entered Piche Scrap Yard on Industrial Av. and broke into 2 scrap handlers and then caused extensive damage and also removed several fire extinguishers from various locations.

Then it is alleged that a fire was then set to a 2001 Freightliner transport that completely destroyed it.

The North Bay Fire Department attended and extinguished the blaze.

The North Bay Police Service is investigating.
