The Tax Information Forum brought to the North Bay area by the Ministry of Revenue, in partnership with the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce and the Nipissing Parry Sound Business Centre, will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at the Clarion Resort Pinewood Park.

Minister Smith will be in attendance to welcome everyone to the event in the morning. A number of tax information seminars will be provided throughout the day including: the Basics of Retail Sales Tax; Are you prepared for an RST Audit; RST and Manufacturers; RST in the Food Service & Hospitality Industries; Overview of Ontario Corporations Tax; Gasoline Tax Refunds; Tobacco Tax Rules; EHT & the Ontario Health Premium; Apprenticeship Training Tax Credit; Economic Development Initiatives in Northern Ontario; WSIB; Payroll Information; GST/HST; Electronic Services Options; EI and Record of Employment; and Basic Business Information.

There is something for every business owner, finance department or new entrepreneur. There is no charge to attend, however pre-registration is recommended.
