Sales Coordinator Alison McGraw and General Manager John Crescenzi unveil the brand for the Holiday Inn Express on Seymour.

It was an exciting day for the staff at the Holiday Inn Express on Seymour Wednesday as the finishing touches were put on the company’s new brand.

“Two years ago, Holiday Inn conducted the industry's most comprehensive consumer research survey ever,” explains General Manager John Crescenzi.

“Insight from this research served as a foundation for exciting changes that are happening at all Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express Hotels worldwide.”

Crescenzi says it is important to have the pulse of what consumers want and based on that feedback some of the changes being instituted include a redesigned logo and signage, new outdoor lighting, landscaping and design features.

He also noted that the hotel in North Bay is just one of four in Ontario to meet the new strict standards.

“We are happy to say that we officially meet the new, high standards of the Holiday Inn Express Brand and are proud to unveil the new logo here in North Bay.”

“In September 2008, we were featured at the Holiday Inn company conference in Los Angeles for implementing a new service culture in our hotel.”

“It was a great opportunity for us, and North Bay, to be featured to over 5000 Hotel owners and GMs from across North America. This accolade came just after Jody Humphrey, a member of our team, was awarded with the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce's Service with a Smile Award.”

“We appreciate the relationships we have built since opening in July 2007 and the recognition received within our community and with the Holiday Inn brand. The future looks bright,” he adds.
