LETTER: Where were the Canadian flags on Flag Day?

To the editor:

Since our national flag day, I’ve travelled the streets of North Bay and have noticed very few Canadian flags on display amongst the fine residents of our city.

Now the Americans haven’t declared war on us as yet, but have declared an unfair commodity and financial war, and insulted our sovereignty.

I feel the people of North Bay need to show a much-needed sign of patriotism by going out and purchasing a Canadian flag and prominently displaying it. Perhaps if this goes viral, the media will cover it.

What a better way of showing the world that we do have pride, and patriotism. I certainly hope it does.

GO TEAM CANADA, hope they win on Thursday night.
