This week Second Saturday Stories continues with the chilling horror story 'Gifted.' Last week Harmon Bradley and his aid Garmin were abandoned by their helicopter pilot in a mysterious village after the villagers turned on them, trying to scavenge metal from the helicopter. Prior to this Harmon refused an offer from the village's bizarre Shaman to provide sanctuary to a mysterious child. Blood was spilled from this refusal as the Shaman disappeared into the landscape, leaving Bradley and Garmin to trek through a blizzard in search of Harmon's prized white wolf.
This week the men find a gate that leads into a cavern dominated by a massive black chapel that seems to contain wails of the damned. Readers will learn the conditions of the Blood Feud Harmon has entered into, and come to realize that even underground death looms around every corner.
