On Sept. 19 during the afternoon hours a man previously released on conditions not to go near a female victim allegedly did so.

This was reported to constables Andre Berube and Vicky Thisdelle of the North Bay Police Service and consequently the officers effected an arrest the next day.

Ronald DULL, 45, of Park Street, in Mattawa, is charged with criminal harassment and attempting to obstruct justice.
He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

BROKEN BEER BOTTLE
On Sept. 17 a woman attended another woman's residence and
allegedly forced her way inside. She then allegedly took a broken beer bottle and attempted to attack this other woman.

Other residents at the home stopped her from completing this act. She then fled the scene and later on Sept. 20 attended the police station to turn herself in.

Diane COMMANDA, 31, of no fixed address, is charged with assault with a weapon, forcible entry and breach of a probation order. She was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

OTHER YOUNG MAN ARRESTED
A young man turned himself into the North Bay Police Station on Sept. 20.

This was in relation to the incident involving a student that was allegedly assaulted by two males at a local secondary school on Sept. 17.

Luke CUTTS, 18, of Southshore Road, in Astorville, is charged with assault and remains in custody for a bail hearing.

ANGRY MAN
On Sept. 20 at approximately 3:30 AM a man attended a woman's residence within the city and allegedly threatened her with a knife.

This woman was known to him. He also allegedly stole a painting from the residence when he left and while at headquarters he allegedly spit at an officer.

The arresting officers were constables Andre Berube and Bill McMullen of the North Bay Police Service.

Rusty POWELL, 28, of no fixed address, is charged with uttering death threats, theft under $5000, and assaulting police. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

STOLEN VEHICLE
On Sept. 20 it was reported to the North Bay Police Service that a vehicle was stolen from the city of North Bay.

This vehicle is described as a 2005 silver Toyota Corolla with Ont. licence # AVVM 134.

BEAR WARNING
Since Sept. 13 the North Bay Police Service has received 10 bear calls. Most of these are in relation to a sow and either one or two cubs.

These sightings were in the areas of Seymour St. and John St. as well as on the Kate Pace way in the Tweedsmuir Drive- Van Horne Crescent and Booth Road and Ferris Drive area of the city.

The North Bay Police Services wishes to caution the general public.

BREAK AND ENTERS
Overnight on Sept. 17 thieves entered an insecure apartment in the 500 block of First Avenue E. Once inside they stole a 1' by 1' safe and some liquor.

Overnight on Sept. 18 thieves entered an insecure garage in the 800 block of Lakeshore Drive and stole a 4.5 HP blue/grey Evinrude outboard motor.

The number "9537" is engraved near the propeller area.

Overnight on Sept. 16 would-be thieves forcibly entered a garage in the 1200 block of Hammond Street. Nothing appears to have been taken.
