ROAD RAGE On Oct. 25 during the early afternoon hours it is alleged that a driver of a motor vehicle became angry with another driver behind him. This same driver then exited his vehicle and took a bat and threatened the other driver.

This same driver then exited his vehicle and took a bat and threatened the other driver. Both drivers eventually reported themselves to the North Bay Police
station where Cst. Bruce Whitehead conducted the investigation.

Richard JACKSON, 46, of Lakeshore Drive, is charged with assault with a weapon. He is to attend court Dec. 6.

SELLING MARIJUANA & THREATENING
During the month of October it is alleged that a man had been selling marijuana to another person within the city.

It is further alleged that a debt was then owed to the seller and that the seller threatened physical harm to the
purchaser.

Constables Ken Ayres and Gerry Martin of the North Bay Police Service conducted their investigation and charged a man in relation to these incidents.

Daniel Joseph DUNNE, 29, of Madelena Drive, is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and threatening. He is to attend court on Nov. 29.

SCHOOL OFFICER ARRESTS ONE
On Oct. 25 a short time before noon Cst. Paul Trahan of the School Liaison section of the North Bay Police Service arrested a young man in relation to his having marijuana on his possession. He was allegedly found with several separate bags of suspected marijuana.

Jeremy Robert BLAIS, 18, of Highway 17 E, is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. He is to attend court on Nov. 22.

RANDOM ATTACK
On Oct. 25 at approximately 8:10 AM it is alleged that as a young male was walking to school on Fraser Street near Second Avenue, he was attacked by another youth on a bicycle.

This other youth allegedly struck the victim with the bicycle and then punched the victim in the face. The attacker then fled the area on his bicycle.

The victim did not know the attacker.

The assailant is described as male, native, 5'9 to 5'11, medium build, 140 to 170 lbs., short black hair with a pimply face. He wore dark clothing.

BREAK AND ENTER
On Oct. 26 at approximately 1:35 AM a window was smashed in the front door of Mac's Multi Mart in the 600 block of Lakeshore Drive. This set off the alarm, however the suspect did manage to enter the store and steal
approximately 40 packages of cigarettes before leaving.

The Ontario Provincial Police K-9 unit was called out and the dog lead officers to the area of Harris Drive and Thelma Avenue, where it lost the scent.
