CHILD PORNOGRAPHY On Nov. 16 Det. Cst. Rodney Cox of the North Bay Police Service arrested a man in relation to possession of child pornography. It is alleged the incident involving a videotape of a six-year-old female occurred in 1998.

It is alleged the incident involving a videotape of a six-year-old female occurred in 1998.

Police continue their investigation.

Francis Edward STEWART, 43, of Wickstead Avenue, is charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Production of Child Pornography. He is to appear in court Nov. 17

BREAK AND ENTER ADVISORY
The North Bay Police Service would like to caution the general public in relation to recent house break and enters.

Individuals approach the home and knock at the door. When no one answers during these daytime entries, the thieves forcibly enter.

These entries lately have been in various residential areas of the city and appear to be committed in this same manner.

If any citizen observes these kinds of preliminary activities they are requested to call the North Bay Police Service at 497-5555.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY
Between 1:30 AM and 2 AM on Nov. 16 a man in his late 60s was walking on Algonquin Avenue near Oakwood Avenue when two males accosted him. It is alleged that they asked him for his wallet and when he refused they began striking and kicking him to the ground. He fought back and possibly injured one of the young men in the knee. He suffered a cut to his hand, abrasions to his face and to his eye. The attackers are described as:white males, approximately 6’ tall and about 25. One had blond hair almost to his shoulders and the other wore a plain dark toque.

BREAK AND ENTER
On Nov. 16 between 8 AM and 4 PM thieves smashed a rear door window to a home in the 400 block of Aberdeen Avenue. Once inside they ransacked the house. They stole a digital camera as well as other items that are as yet unknown.

Possible suspects are:

1- Male, white, 16 to 17 years, 5’3 to 5’4, wearing a silver on white ¾ jacket, black pants and a back pack.

2- Male, white, 16 to 17 years, 5’8 to 5’10, wearing a black jacket and pants and also carrying a back pack.
