ARREST RE STOLEN VEHICLE On Jan. 21 shortly before 2:30 AM Cst. Al Kraft of the North Bay Police Service was taking a report of a car stolen from Gormanville Road.
ARREST RE STOLEN VEHICLE
On Jan. 21 shortly before 2:30 AM Cst. Al Kraft of the North Bay Police Service was taking a report of a car stolen from Gormanville Road.

A call came on the police band radio that a suspicious vehicle was at the Pinehill Plaza. The officer attended along with other officers and arrested a male in relation to the original vehicle theft.

Aaron Lecuyer, 20, of McIntyre Street W. is charged with
theft of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property (motor vehicle, care and control (impaired), and refusing to provide a breath sample.

Lecuyer is presently in custody awaiting a bail hearing.


WOMAN ATTACKED IN HOME


On Jan. 20 at 2:15 p.m. an unknown male forced his way into a home on Oakdale Rd. A lone female was knocked around several times receiving minor injuries. This male continued to try and force the woman onto a bed. She
continued fighting and managed to break free escaping the residence and called police.
She was taken to the hospital and released with minor injuries.

This man is described as a male Native, 5'9, medium build, early 30s, no facial hair, no glasses, short
dark hair or a toque. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and lace-up running shoes.

The investigating officer is Cst. Mike Hunter of the North Bay Police Service.

STOLEN VEHICLE
On Jan. 21 shortly before 3 a.m. a vehicle was stolen from downtown North Bay. It is described as a 1990 grey Pontiac Grand Prix 4 door, Ontario Licence ABFT 936.


DAMAGE TO TRANSCANADA PIPELINES
On Jan. 20 employees of the above company reported to police that a truck had driven over a test lead for the pipeline company. The location of the damage is near the 1400 block of Ski Club Rd. Damage is estimated at over
$5000.


BREAK AND ENTER
During daylight hours Jan. 20 thieves entered a home on Massey Drive in North Bay. They stole alcohol. Entry had been through a basement window.
