After receiving information of alleged threats to kill a female, and further alleged threats to kill police officers at the police station, the North Bay Police Service commenced an investigation. On Aug. 23 shortly before 10 PM constables Scott McFarlane and Penny Kerr arrested an individual in relation to these alleged incident.

Roland OUELLETTE, 41, of Clarence Street, is charged with two counts of threatening and possession of marijuana.

He was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing. The investigation is continuing into other alleged allegations.

BREAK AND ENTER
Further to the H E Brown break and enter reported yesterday, is that a “Robin” generator, yellow in colour and two rechargeable spotlights with a total value of $2,500 was stolen.

On Aug. 23 between 8 AM and 11:30 AM, would-be thieves attempted to enter an apartment in the 1100 block of Cassells Street. No entry was gained and a 25-year-old male was seen leaving the area. He is further described as being white, with a heavy build, a brush cut and wearing a beige stripped sweater
