Two people arrested and charged with indignity to a dead body

The Anishinabek Police Service (APS) and the West Parry Sound OPP have identified the deceased in connection with a death investigation on Wasauksing First Nation.

On October 21 the APS was conducting a follow-up to a missing person on Lane D, Wasauksing First Nation, when officers located a deceased person. The deceased has been identified as 39-year-old Johnathon DOLSON, from Munsee Delaware First Nation, who was previously reported missing.

Two people were arrested and charged with Indignity to a dead body.

The West Parry Sound OPP Crime Unit and the APS Crime Unit are continuing the investigation under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, with assistance from the OPP Forensic Identification Services, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Services.
