TWO YOUNG OFFENDERS ARRESTED On Sept. 4 Cst. Richard Hampel of the North Bay Police Service arrested two male young offenders in relation to a break and enter into a dwelling that occurred on July 13.

On Sept. 4 Cst. Richard Hampel of the North Bay Police Service arrested two male young offenders in relation to a break and enter into a dwelling that occurred on July 13.

Approximately $5000 to $7000 worth of jewellery was recovered. These young offenders are to attend court
at a later date.

WOMAN ATTACKED
On Sept. 13 at approximately 9 PM a lone woman was walking behind the bingo hall near the North Bay Mall. She was allegedly grabbed by an unknown male who attempted to drag her further into the darkness. She fought back and managed to flee the area although she suffered minor injuries to
her face.

The assailant is described as male, possibly young and white, 6' tall with a slim build. He wore dark black clothing and an oversized black hood covering his face.

His last direction of travel was east bound in the parking lot.

The victim was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.


BREAK AND ENTERS


>From Sept. 3-12, thieves forcibly entered a cottage in the
500 block of Main Street S in Callander. Once inside they stole a silver Koss DVD player, a black Sony home theatre system and a Sony Playstation 2 system with a controller and a memory card along with five games.

During daylight hours thieves used a ladder to access a bedroom window left open at a home in the first block of Massey Drive and stole the following:Percocet medication, Canadian Tire money, 10 CDs of various artists, a
collector tea cup with saucer with a rose design, various rolled coins, various jewellery, a black leather wallet with a male's identification, a GE VCR with several small speakers, a Nintendo 64 game system with controllers
and games, a Nintendo Cube game system with controllers, a super Nintendo game system with controllers and several games, 2 Gameboys special edition with nine games and three Playstation 1 games.

Between Aug. 24 and Sept. 12, thieves gained access
to a locked steel storage bin in the 1800 block of Seymour Street, Once inside the thieves stole numerous truck and trailer tires and rims. The estimated value was $10,000 to $12,000. The investigating officer is Cst. Jason Long,
