FAKE FIFTIES Recently there have been several counterfeit American $50 bills being passed in the city. One man the North Bay Police Service would like to talk to in regards to this incident is described as follows.

Recently there have been several counterfeit American $50 bills being passed in the city. One man the North Bay Police Service would like to talk to in regards to this incident is described as follows.

Male white, 5’10, chubby build, 200-250 lbs., unshaven, with straggly blond hair past ears, crooked yellow teeth and wearing prescription glasses.

This male was alone and driving a small white car similar to a Toyota Camry with Iowa plates.

BREAK AND ENTERS
During the June 12 weekend, thieves smashed a window to an apartment in the 300 block of Second Avenue E and then gained entry and stole some DVDs.

Also during the past June 12 weekend, thieves smashed two windows at Sacred Heart School, on McKeown Avenue. They then found an unlocked window and entered. Here they stole a Koss mini stereo system with detachable speakers.

Between Saturday June 12 to Monday June 14 thieves pried open a rear door to a home in the 1200 block of Highway 654 in Callander.

Once inside they stole several items that were worth approximately $20,000.

They are listed as follows:

A Honda generator; a Stihl weedeater with a grey mechanic’s tool chest containing a variety of hand tools, four or five grey-coloured tool boxes containing an assortment of power tools; a Honda snowblower and some liquor and jewellery; crystal wine decanters and glasses with gold rims; a bread maker, Panasonic television, Panasonic VCR and DVD player.
