STABBING INCIDENT BEING INVESTIGATED The North Bay Police Service is presently investigating an alleged stabbing incident that occurred at approximately 1 AM Sunday within a residence on Champlain Street.

The North Bay Police Service is presently investigating an alleged stabbing incident that occurred at approximately 1 AM Sunday within a residence on Champlain Street.

A 42-year-old male victim attended the hospital
with a serious wound and then left the facility.

Investigators with the Criminal Investigation Section are presently continuing their investigation. Some time later the victim re-attended the hospital.

OFFICER McLEOD FARES WELL
During this past week Cst. Mark McLeod of the North Bay Police Service attended the World Police and Fire Games in Quebec City.

Over 200 world competitors attended this event.
The competition included an obstacle course, 5 Kl. run, shot put, 20 ft. rope climb, 100 metre
swim, 100 metre sprint, bench press and chin-ups.

Cst. Mark McLeod achieved seventh place in his age category.

The police service wishes to congratulate him.
