On Sept. 14 during the early evening hours it is alleged that a man attended another man’s residence in North Bay, and threatened him with a knife.

Constables Bill Gainforth and Steve Sproule of the North Bay Police Service investigated the alleged incident and made an arrested two hours later.

Yves GERVAIS, 45, of Corbeil-Astorville Road, in Corbeil, is charged with assault with a weapon and having a dangerous weapon.

He is to attend court Nov. 8.

BREAK AND ENTER
Cst. Steve Trahan of the North Bay Police Service arrested a 14-year-old male yesterday for a break and enter that was committed Sept. 13 at a Whitney Avenue home.

This youth was charged with break and enter and theft, breach of probation and possession of stolen property. Some property was recovered and the youth was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

The investigation continues.

THEFT OF ATVSM
Overnight on Sept. 13 a transport truck was parked in the parking lot of the Bay Truck Stop on Highway 11 North.

When the driver awoke the next morning he saw that two ATVs were missing from his load.

They are described as being 2006 400 cc 4X4 red Arctic Cat all terrain vehicles. At the time of report the value was unavailable.

BREAK AND ENTER
Sometime during the past several days, someone broke into a residence on Thelma Avenue and stole two telephones and food articles from the fridge.
