ARSON CHARGE While being a patient at the North Bay General Hospital on the 21st of April, a man lit a small fire in one of the rooms. It was quickly extinguished and caused little damage. On May 19 Cst.

While being a patient at the North Bay General Hospital on the 21st of April, a man lit a small fire in one of the rooms. It was quickly extinguished and caused little damage.

On May 19 Cst. Steve Taylor and Paul Brewer of the North Bay Police Service effected an arrest in relation to this incident.

Claude PELLETIER, 39, of Four Mile Lake Road, is charged with Arson and is to appear in court July 6.

COBOURG POLICE FUNERAL
Today six officers of the North Bay Police Service will be attending the funeral of the fallen officer in Cobourg. This funeral will take place at 1 PM.

BREAK AND ENTER
Between 7:30 AM and noon on May 19 thieves entered a home in the 200 block of Hearst Street via an insecure side door. Once inside they ransacked the residence and stole a substantial amount of cash.
