On Tuesday police got a call regarding threats made by two males against a victim.
Yesterday, North Bay Police officers, with the help of the OPP Tactical Response Unit executed a search warrant at a residence belonging to Frederick Trottier. He was found inside the residence and arrested. Kyle Trottier was located later the same day on Lakeshore Drive.
Searches by police resulted in the seizure of a handgun and accompanying ammunition.
Frederick Richard Trottier, 55, of North Bay is charged with:
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
- Uttering Threats – Cause death or Bodily Harm
- Failure to comply with a release order
Kyle Trottier, 19, of North Bay is charged with:
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
The accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
