A 911 caller found out the limit of OPP patience this week and now faces a charge for her persistence.

On October 11 at 11:30 p.m., East Algoma OPP responded to a third false 911 call at a residence on Highway 17 in the village of Sprague.

"An investigation determined the caller was intoxicated for all three 911 calls and was apparently bored," says an OPP release. "The caller was warned each time not to call 911 for nonemergent matters."

The first false 911 call came in at 3:30 a.m. and the second false 911 call was at 8:30 p.m. The accused was spoken to again and warned say the police.

As a result of a third false 911 call, Jackie McColl, 48, from Spragge is charged with "Harassing Communications" and was kept at the Blind River detachment until sober.

McColl is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on December 5.
