On August 16, at 5 p.m., the North Bay OPP conducted a RIDE Program at Sunnyside Road, Bonfield.
While the program was underway, a black pick-up truck was stopped. The driver was subsequently arrested and brought to the North Bay OPP detachment for further testing.
Joesph Berube, 45, of Bonfield was charged with - Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.
The accused was issued a 90-day Administrative Driver's Licence Suspension (ADLS), vehicle impounded for seven days, and is scheduled to appear at the North Bay Ontario Court of Justice on September 24, 2024.
