Police want help in power tool theft

Police are seeking the public's assistance in a break, enter and the theft of power tools.

On August 16, members from the Nipissing West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a break, enter and theft from a local business on Highway 17, West Nipissing. 

Sometime after the business hours of August 15 a thief entered the property by forcing a door open, then removed the following items:

  • Husqvarna 3501 Chainsaw
  • Husqvarna 365 Chainsaw
  • Husqvarna 372 XP Chainsaw
  • Husqvarna 545FX Brush Cutter
  • Propane Ducar 4000w inverter generator
  • Ducar 2000w inverter

Officers are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual involved in the theft or possession of this item.
