Orillia OPP arrested three people for impaired-related offences in less than seven hours recently.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a report of a vehicle parked on the side of Highway 11 North in Oro-Medonte. Officers noticed numerous empty alcohol containers in the vehicle and the driver was showing signs of being intoxicated, according to a news release.

Brandon Graham, 37, of Sutton, has been charged with operation while impaired (alcohol) and operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus).

Morris Komakeh, 47, of North Bay, has been charged with operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus) and stunt driving.

At 1 a.m. Thursday, police saw a driver going through numerous amber lights at a high rate of speed on Atherley Road. A traffic stop was initiated and there was an odour of alcohol on the driver’s breath.

Cale Simpson, 42, of Vancouver, has been charged with operation while impaired (alcohol), operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus), driving a vehicle with no plates, and amber light (fail to stop).

All of the accused have July court dates in Orillia. Their drivers’ licences will be suspended for 90 days and the vehicles will be impounded for seven days.
