No threat in Temiskaming Secondary lockdown say police

Temiskaming OPP say there was a lockdown at Temiskaming Secondary School yesterday afternoon after a report of a threat made towards the safety of students.

Police responded to the Niven Street high school in Temiskaming Shores. to clear the school and ensure the safety of students and staff.

Other schools in the area were alerted and put on a hold and secure as a precaution," says Constable Chris Hawkins. "Investigation determined that there was no threat made and there was no threat to public safety."
