RE STABBING ON Sept. 11 A 20-year-old North Bay man has been charged following an alleged stabbing incident Sunday. Andrew BROADHEAD, of Carmichael Drive, is charged with aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous weapon.

A 20-year-old North Bay man has been charged following an alleged stabbing incident Sunday.

Andrew BROADHEAD, of Carmichael Drive, is charged with aggravated assault and possession of a dangerous weapon.

He remains in custody for a bail hearing. The arresting officer was Ken Ayres of the North Bay Police Service.


Callander man charged

A 49-year-old Callander man is charged with mischief, careless storage of a firearm and careless storage of ammunition.

Wayne DESBIENS remains in custody and is to attend court today.


THIRTEEN-YEAR-OLD PULLS KNIFE
On Sept. 7 during the evening hours a 13-year-old boy pulled a knife and brandished it towards a 13-year-old girl.

Cst. Jody deHaas of the North Bay Police Service arrested the boy Sunday. He is to appear in court Oct. 26 and is charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a prohibited weapon.

MAN FOUND IN BUSINESS
On Sept. 10 during the early morning hours a man was found inside a business premises in the 100 block of Main Street E.

Cst. Shawn Devine of the North Bay Police Service was called and arrested the man.

Joel BLAIS, 24, of Clute Twp., in Cochrane, is charged with break and enter with intent and being unlawfully in a dwelling house. He is to appear in court at a later date.

STOLEN VEHICLE
Overnight Sept. 10 thieves stole a 2000 refrigerated cube van from a parking lot on Booth Road. The Ontario licence plate is 776 7LD.

A company logo of 11-17 in gold lettering with green outlines is painted on the sides.
