SEVENTEEN-YEAR OLD IMPAIRED On Nov. 25 shortly after 9:30 PM, constables Steve Trahan and Bill McMullen of the North Bay Police Service stopped a 17-year-old male driver in North Bay.
SEVENTEEN-YEAR OLD IMPAIRED
On Nov. 25 shortly after 9:30 PM, constables Steve Trahan and Bill McMullen of the North Bay Police Service stopped a 17-year-old male driver in North Bay.

It was ascertained that this driver was in fact impaired and the youth was arrested. He is to attend court Jan. 11.

IMMIGRATION WARRANT
On Nov. 27 shortly after 2:30 AM constables Dave Wilson and Jeff Warner of the North Bay Police Service observed a man who was known to them, walking on McIntyre Street in North Bay.

This man was allegedly wanted on an immigration warrant and consequently was arrested.

Dipesh PATEL, 24, of McIntyre Street, is being held in District Jail.

ANGRY LANDLORD
On Nov. 26 during the afternoon hours, an argument ensued between a landlord and a tenant within the city.

The landlord allegedly advised the tenant to vacate the premises and when he refused, was allegedly threatened with bodily harm.

Cst. Scott Buchanan of the North Bay Police Service attended the location and ended up arresting the landlord.

Harold DOUCETTE, 67, of Burns Street, is charged with uttering threats. He was held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT EXECUTED
On Nov. 28 shortly after 2 AM constables Scott McFarlane and Jeff Warner of the North Bay Police Service executed an arrest warrant at a home within the city.

The warrant was executed on a man wanted for discharging a firearm some time previously within a home in the city.

Steve CHAULK, 22, of McIntyre Street W is charged with assault causing bodily harm and a weapons offence. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT WITH WEAPON
On Nov. 27 at approximately 1 AM constables Jeff Warner and Walter Neeley of the North Bay Police Service attended a home within the city regarding an alleged assault.

Michael BEAN, 50, of Worthington Street E, is charged with assault with a weapon, a metal bar in this case.

He is to attend court on the 10th of Jan.

BREAK AND ENTERS
On Friday thieves entered an apartment in the 500 block of Main Street S in Callander, and stole a Golden Eagle Compound Bow. It was camouflage in colour and had an 80 lb. pull as well as an attached quiver containing five arrows.

On Nov. 27 between the hours of 3:30 PM and midnight, thieves broke the rear door to a home in the 600 block of Main Street E in North Bay. Once inside they stole 40 children’s DVDs , 80 to 100 DVD movies and a DVD cassette player. They also stole some silver rings from a bedroom.

The total value of the loss was approximately $3000.
