On Nov. 6 during the evening hours it is alleged that a man had non-consentual sex with a teenage girl at a residence within North Bay.
Constables Richard Hampel and Mike Hunter received a call to attend and consequently arrested a male in relation to this complaint.

Shawn Patrick RITCHIE, 33, of First Av. E. is charged with sexual interference, two counts of assault and sexual assault.

He remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

MAN ARRESTED RE. OCTOBER ASSAULT
On Nov. 6, constables Jeff Warner and Mark Ethier of the North Bay Police Service arrested a male in relation to two counts of sexual assault concerning a man who had grabbed a woman's buttocks at Northgate Square Oct. 22.

David Ovid JANVEAU, 20, of McNamara Street, is charged with two counts of sexual assault. He remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY
On Nov. 7 shortly after 6 PM it is alleged that a woman was exiting the rear of a store at the North Bay Mall when two male natives confronted her.

One of them grabbed her purse and told her to give them the money. She pulled back and managed to re-enter the store and close the door. She then
called police.

Cst. Jim Kilroy, the investigator, is seeking information about this crime.

The suspects are described as:
1-Male native, 5'10-6', wearing a dark ball cap possibly with an eagle on the front, and dark clothing.
2-Male native, 5'10 and wearing dark clothing.

BREAK AND ENTERS
On Nov. 4 or 5 thieves broke a window in a rear door to a home in the 400 block of Second Avenue E in North Bay. The thieves then gained entry and stole sterling silver knives, two desk lamps, a Rogers AT & T silver coloured phone, 24 spoons, a Minolta camera with attachments, rolled quarters and pennies.

On Nov. 5 between 8 AM and 5:15 PM thieves forced their way into a residence in the 700 block of Worthington Street E. Once inside they ransacked
the home. They stole a JVC DVD/VCR combo player, a Nintendo game cube with controller and memory card, a Kodak digital camera dx6340 and 24 various CDs. The value is over $1,000.

On Nov. 5 between 11 AM and 1:45 PM thieves entered a home in the 1200 block of Franklin Street. Entry was gained via an unlocked bedroom window in the upper part of the house. The thieves stole cash and other articles.

It is possible that the suspects were a male and female who had attended next door and asked for an unknown person.
Suspects: 1-male white, 5'9, medium build and wearing a navy blue hooded sweater.

2- female white, 18-20 years, 5'3 slim, shoulder length hair and wearing a pink top and beige jacket.

During the weekend of Nov. 5 and 6, windows in a home in the 100 block of Tweesmuir Drive were broken. Then, entry was gained and the home was
ransacked. It is uncertain what was taken at the time of report because of so many articles being strewn about.
