ARRESTED Last week the North Bay Police Service reported that a homeowner on Brook Street surprised a man attempting to steal his vehicle, and further, that this man allegedly threatened the homeowner with death.

Last week the North Bay Police Service reported that a homeowner on Brook Street surprised a man attempting to steal his vehicle, and further, that this man allegedly threatened the homeowner with death.

Police are now reporting that on June 10 at approximately 11 PM, constables Richard Hampel and Mark McLeod arrested a man in relation to this incident.

Christopher DURST, 35, of Chippewa Street W, is charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine), threatening, trespass by night, attempted theft, and two counts of breach of probation. He was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

YOUTHS ARRESTED
On June 12 constables Helene Boissonneault and Penny Kerr, of the North Bay Police Service patrol section, arrested several youths in relation to a previous home break and enter.

This entry took place on Princess Street W on June 10 in North Bay.

Three 14-year-old males and one 14-year-old female were charged with various offences, including break and enter and theft, possession of stolen property and break and enter with intent. They are to appear in court Aug. 3

A 13-year-old male was also referred to the police service's Youth Section.
