MAN WITH KNIFE On June 3 during the afternoon hours constables Roger Drolet and Ken Ayres of therrived and located a man who was arrested without incident. North Bay Police Service received a 911 call to attend a residence within the city.

On June 3 during the afternoon hours constables Roger Drolet and Ken Ayres of therrived and located a man who was arrested without incident.

North Bay Police Service received a 911 call to attend a residence within the city.

This call allegedly involved a man that was threatening people with a knife.

The officers arrested Brandon THOMAS, 19, of no fixed address, and charged him with two counts of threatening, possessing a dangerous weapon and assault with a weapon.

He was kept for a bail hearing.

ROAD RAGE
On June 5 shortly after 11 AM it is alleged that a road rage incident took place on Fisher Street near Third Avenue in North Bay.

It is further alleged that a vehicle tail-gated another vehicle and finally passed this same vehicle and forced it into the oncoming lane of traffic. A man and woman got out of this offending vehicle and approached the other vehicle (victims).

The driver uttered death threats to the other driver and his female passenger spit in the face of a female passenger in the victim vehicle.

Cst. Larry Asselin of the North Bay Police Service investigated the incident and requests the assistance of the general public who may have witnessed this incident.

Adam BRITT, 22, of Taillefer Road in Corbeil is charged with uttering death threats and dangerous driving. He is to attend court July 12.

His female passenger is charged with assault (spitting).

IMPAIRED BY DRUGS
On June 4 shortly after 2 AM Cst. Scott McFarlane of the North Bay Police Service arrested a male driver for driving while his ability was impaired by drugs (marijuana and Percocets). This driver was also charged with two counts of possession of drugs. He is to appear in court on June 6.

MAN ROBBED
On June 4 at approximately 12:30 AM a man was allegedly approached by two males in the 1600 block of Parkwood Drive.

One of these males distracted the victim and the other male suddenly punched him in the head. Both males then stole a backpack and a bicycle from the victim. They fled down the John Kennedy Memorial Trail. The bike and the backpack were later found abandoned some distance down the trail. The backpack had two CDs and a set of headphones missing.

The description of the suspects are:

1- male white, 5’10, in his 20s, long blond hair and unshaven, wearing dark Nike sweatshirt, beige shorts.

2- male white, 6’5, muscular build and wearing yellow gloves, and a black hooded sweatshirt.

MAN WRECKS HOME
On June 5 during the daytime hours a man visiting a home within the West Ferris area of the city allegedly caused an extensive amount of damage. It is further alleged that this man broke dishes, furniture and a toilet that caused more damage due to water leaking through the ceiling. The damage was approximately $5000 to $7000. Cst. Jody deHass of the North Bay Police Service is continuing the investigation.

BOAT TRAILER STOLEN
On June 5 between 6 AM and 10 AM thieves stole a boat trailer that was left attached to a vehicle at the Lake Nipissing, Queen Street access. This trailer is further described as being homemade, single axle, black in colour with wood bunks and 2X4 guide bars at the back. It is capable of handling a 16’ boat. The licence plate was Y54356.

BREAK AND ENTERS
Between June 4 and 5 thieves entered a customized motorcycle business in the 1100 block of Carmichael Drive. Once inside they stole two racing motorcycles. They are described as:

1-Honda CVR 1000, consisting of a frame and engine.

2- 2004 Yamaha R6 with a blue gas tank.

On June 3 at approximately 1 AM two thieves were attempting to forcibly enter a Skatepark shed located on Gertrude Street E. They were observed in the locked compound and police were called. They fled the area before officers arrived and no entry was gained.
