ASSAULT BODILY HARM On July 16 shortly after 1 AM, the North Bay Police Service received a 911 hang-up call to a residence within the city. Constables Aimee Ethier and Roger Drolet attended and located a man who had a lacerated arm.

He was brought to the hospital by the North Bay Ambulance Service for treatment. The officers arrested a woman at the scene in relation to this incident.

Muriel Alexandra METATAWABIN, 29, of Marshall Park Drive, is charged with assault causing bodily harm. She is to appear in court July 19.

BREAKING SPRINKLER HEADS
Overnight on July 17 it is alleged that a young man was breaking off sprinkler heads at the North Bay waterfront. Later that day Cst. Richard Hampel of the North Bay Police Service had occasion to investigate the incident and located a male. This male allegedly falsely identified himself to the officer. He was arrested in relation to the incidents.

Jonathan Cecil YOUNG, 21, of Junniper Street, in Fenlon Falls, is charged with mischief, obstructing police and breach of an undertaking. He was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

ARREST: BREAK AND ENTER
On July 17 detective-constables Aaron Northrup and Chris Johnson, of the Street Crime Unit with the North Bay Police Service, arrested a male in relation to a previous break and enter. This entry was alleged to have occurred between the July 4 and 7 within a North Bay residence. DVD movies were stolen and allegedly pawned.

Gary WALKER, 20, of Ottawa Avenue, in South River, is charged with break and enter, committing an offence and fraud (to the pawn shop). He was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED AND THEFT OF VEHICLE
On July 18 shortly before 1 AM constables Mark Ethier and Shawn Devine of the North Bay Police Service arrested a man in relation to the theft of an auto and failure to remain at the scene of a collision.

Jason Robert HANSMAN, 22, of Viceroy Road, is charged with impaired driving, driving with over 80 milligrams of alcohol, theft over and failure to remain at the scene of a collision. He is to appear in court Aug. 30.

OFFICER SEEKS WITNESSES
Cst. Shawn Devine of the North Bay Police Service is seeking witnesses to an altercation that occurred last night at 7:15 at the No Frills and Dairy Queen parking lot on Lakeshore Drive. Any information may be called in at 497-5555.

BREAK AND ENTERS
Overnight on July 15 thieves broke into the Chief Commanda 11 at the Lake Nipissing waterfront. Once inside, the thieves attempted unsuccessfully to enter a freezer but did steal two-dozen hot dogs and buns as well as cheese from another fridge nearby.

Overnight July 17 thieves pried open the front door of a residence in the 300 block of King Street W and stole a large clear glass jar filled with loonies and toonies. The residents were sleeping within the home at this time.
