A North Bay man who repeatedly tried to enter a Fisher St. business, but was denied, has been arrested.
Police say on September 17 the man was turned away from the store because staff was concerned about previous incidents involving him and a female victim, who is an employee.
"During one of the attempts to enter the business, the victim was present and the accused made threats against her safety," says a release. The man was located later the same day and arrested and charged by police.
Robert Sheridan Tennant, 32, is charged with:
- Uttering threats
- Causing a disturbance
- Mischief under $5,000
- Criminal harassment – threatening conduct
Tennant was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
