Officers from the Huntsville OPP are investigating a fatal accident today on Highway 117, in the Township of Lake of Bays.
At 9:30 a.m., police responded to a single-vehicle accident on Highway 117, near Brunel Road. The driver, an 83-year-old from Huntsville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Highway 117 near Brunel Road will be closed for several hours while the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionists assist with the investigation.
