AGGRESSION On Nov. 25 shortly after 1:30 AM constables Mel Prevost and Jason Long of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend a residence in the Ferris area of North Bay.

On Nov. 25 shortly after 1:30 AM constables Mel Prevost and Jason Long of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend a residence in the Ferris area of North Bay.

The officers arrived and commenced their investigation into alleged assaults with a baseball bat that had taken place within the home.

Jay WEIR, 35, of Whitney Avenue, is charged with assault with a weapon and assault.

Tiffany KNAPTON, 24, also of Whitney Avenue, is charged with assault with a weapon and assault.

Both are to appear in court on Nov. 29.

THEFT OF AUTO
Overnight Nov. 22 thieves stole a 1994 green Chrysler Concord from the lot at Kia Motors on Main Street in North Bay. This vehicle did not have plates.

ATTEMPTED BREAK AND ENTER
On Nov. 23 during daytime hours would-be thieves attempted to force their way into a garage at a home in the 900 block of O’Brien Street.

A lawn chair was used to gain access to smash a window. The would-be thief then tried to cut into plywood behind the window. This was unsuccessful and entry was not gained.
