STRANGER SEXUALLY ATTACKS WOMAN On Nov. 10 shortly after midnight a young woman was walking home in the Regina Street/Second Avenue area of the city.
STRANGER SEXUALLY ATTACKS WOMAN
On Nov. 10 shortly after midnight a young woman was walking home in the Regina Street/Second Avenue area of the city. Allegedly a male called out to her a couple of times and she was suddenly grabbed and pulled down to the ground.

She then was physically restrained and led away towards John Street and down the Kinsmen trail where she was sexually assaulted. After, she managed to escape. Constables Sue Solman and Mark McLeod of the North Bay Police Service were called.

The victim attended the North Bay General Hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as:

Male white, 5’9 to 5’10, stocky build, 220 to 240 lbs. wearing black track pants, a black long sleeve sweater with a plush black vest. He also wore a balaclava and black gloves. Any information should be called in to 497-5555.
