ROBBERY On May 16 during the afternoon hours, a man was arrested by constables Andre Berube and Steve Sproule of the North Bay Police Service. This was a result of an incident that occurred May 15.

On May 16 during the afternoon hours, a man was arrested by constables Andre Berube and Steve Sproule of the North Bay Police Service.

This was a result of an incident that occurred May 15. Allegedly this man had without being invited, entered a home of a woman known to him. He then proceeded to threaten her with a weapon and demanded property from her.

Andrew LIBBEY, 32, of North Bay is charged with:

Unlawfully being in a dwelling house, robbery with violence, mischief under $5000, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, careless use of a firearm, and two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm.

He was held for a bail hearing.

MISCHIEF


On May 19 shortly before midnight constables Dave Wilson and Al Bedard of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend Mr. Gas on Highway 11 North regarding a possible break and enter in progress.

The officers attended and found that two youths had been on the roof of the business. There was also damage caused to the premises.

Kevin MARCOTTE, 19, of Dudley Street, is charged with mischief and is to attend court on July 12.

Nathan AMYOTTE, 19, of Cartier Street, is charged with mischief and possession of cannabis. He is also to attend court on July 12.

THIEF CAUGHT
On May 19 shortly after noon, constables Al Bedard and Ken Ayres of the North Bay Police Service received a call to attend in the area of 600 block on Memorial Drive. Someone had apparently entered an open garage and stolen a tool box. This male had then escaped on a bicycle. Officers finally located the youth and after a brief foot chase, captured him.

A 17-year-old male is charged with break and enter and theft as well as breach of probation. He was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

BREAK AND ENTER
On May 19 between the hours of 10 AM and 1:30 PM thieves pried open a side door to a residence in the 500 block of Second Avenue E. Although entry was gained it appears that nothing was taken.
