THREE CHARGED RE. STOLEN DOGS Cst. Bill McMullen of the North Bay Police Service arrested three people yesterday, in relation to the theft of dogs that was recently reported to the media.

Cst. Bill McMullen of the North Bay Police Service arrested three people yesterday, in relation to the theft of dogs that was recently reported to the media. These dogs were of a rare French bulldog breed and were very expensive.

A 17-year-old female is charged with theft over $5,000, and trespassing at night and is to appear in court on July 20.

A 17-year-old male is also charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, and is to appear in court on July 20.

Graydon ACKROYD, 19, of Main Street W is charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, and is to appear in court July 19.

Of the two dogs that were stolen, only one has been recovered.

The investigation continues.

MAN ATEMPTS TO STEAL VEHICLE
On June 10 shortly before 4 AM, a male homeowner heard a noise outside his house. He investigated the sound and found a male in the driver’s seat of his Jeep. The area was in the 1100 block of Metcalf Street.

The homeowner then confronted the male, who suddenly wielded an object and threatened the resident with death. He then fled the area.

The suspect is described as male white, in his 20s, 6’+, a thin build, bald with a missing tooth from the top row, tattoos on both arms and wore a black t-shirt, black pants and white runners.
