POLICE INVESTIGATING ROBBERY On July 7 at approximately 2 PM a woman was riding her bicycle on Regina Street at Worthington Street when she was approached by a young woman known to her as Sarah.
POLICE INVESTIGATING ROBBERY
On July 7 at approximately 2 PM a woman was riding her bicycle on Regina Street at Worthington Street when she was approached by a young woman known to her as Sarah. It is alleged that this Sarah pulled the victim off of her bike and then commenced to fight with her. A male person then appeared and pulled the victim from the fracas. Sarah then fled the scene with the victim’s purse, containing cash and medication.

The victim reported to her doctor with as yet unknown injuries.

Sarah is further described as non-white, 18, long black hair and a thin build.

The investigating officer is Cst. Paul Brewer of the North Bay Police Service.

MAN STRUCK WITH BAT
On July 7 during the afternoon hours while at their home in North Bay, a woman allegedly struck her husband with an aluminium bat. Constables Peter Brunette and Paul Brewer of the North Bay Police Service were called to the scene and arrested the female. She was charged with assault with a weapon. She was kept in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

MISCHIEFS
Overnight on July 6 a vehicle in the 1400 block of Copeland Street had it’s rear window smashed.

Overnight on July a residence in the 100 block of Nelson Street had its pool liner cut. This resulted in damages of over $1,000.

Also overnight on July 6 a vehicle tire was slashed in the 100 block of Parsons Av..

Overnight on July 6 a vehicle on Fodor Street had two tires slashed.
