The North Bay Police Service arrested two men and two women, all from North Bay on drug trafficking and weapons charges. Also seized was over $23,000 worth of illegal drugs.
As part of an investigation, on February 12, the Emergency Response Team and Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in an apartment building on Lakeshore Drive. One of the accused Dylan Johnson was arrested outside the building while three others were located and arrested inside the residence.
Searches by police resulted in the seizure of:
- An airsoft rifle
- A BB handgun
- A recurve bow
- An improvised conducted energy device commonly known as a “taser”
- 18 grams of fentanyl
- 157 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine
- 16 grams of suspected cocaine
- 66 8 milligram Dilaudid (hydromorphone) pills
- 170 naloxone pills
- $600 in cash
The street value of the drugs seized is approximately $23,700.
Justine Else, 37, is charged with:
- Eight counts of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Produce a Schedule I Substance
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Four counts of failure to comply with a release order

Dylan Johnson, 37, is charged with:
- Eight counts of Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking

- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Three counts of Failure to comply with release order

Andrew Seaborn, 37, is charged with:
- Eight counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Produce a Schedule I Substance
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

Maranda Swain, 29, is charged with:
- Eight counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Produce a Schedule I substance
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Possession of a prohibited device or ammunition
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose

All were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
