The North Bay Police Service has arrested a 34-year-old Barrie man on drug trafficking and weapon offences.

The man was arrested in the 300-block of Lakeshore Drive concerning two outstanding warrants.

  • 10 grams of fentanyl
  • 43 grams of cocaine
  • Less than one gram of crack cocaine
  • two grams of methamphetamine
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • Drug trafficking equipment
  • Two knives
  • A box cutter

The street value of the drugs seized is approximately $7,100.

Jonathan Pearson, 34,  is charged with:

  • Two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I substance
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Carrying a concealed weapon
  • Five counts of failing to comply with a  release order

Pearson was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
