The North Bay Police Service has arrested a 34-year-old Barrie man on drug trafficking and weapon offences.
The man was arrested in the 300-block of Lakeshore Drive concerning two outstanding warrants.
A search by police resulted in the location and seizure of illegal drugs and weapons.
- 10 grams of fentanyl
- 43 grams of cocaine
- Less than one gram of crack cocaine
- two grams of methamphetamine
- Drug paraphernalia
- Drug trafficking equipment
- Two knives
- A box cutter
The street value of the drugs seized is approximately $7,100.
Jonathan Pearson, 34, is charged with:
- Two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I substance
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Carrying a concealed weapon
- Five counts of failing to comply with a release order
Pearson was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
