North Bay police have arrested a 61-year old man on drug trafficking offences after a drug bust in the City's north end.
On Wednesday, as part of an investigation into drug trafficking, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Spencer Avenue. A man found in the residence was arrested.
The investigation and search by police resulted in the seizure of:
- 36 grams of suspected cocaine
- 247 suspected methamphetamine tablets
- 95, 5mg suspected Percocet pills
- $813 in cash
- Drug trafficking equipment
The estimated street value of the drugs is approximately $6,800.
James Randall Joseph Shank, 61 of North Bay is charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – methamphetamines
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – other drugs
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Shank was released on an undertaking with a court date of November 30..
