Cocaine and methamphetamine tablets seized in Spencer Avenue drug raid

North Bay police have arrested a 61-year old man on drug trafficking offences after a drug bust in the City's north end.

On Wednesday, as part of an investigation into drug trafficking, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Spencer Avenue. A man found in the residence was arrested.

The investigation and search by police resulted in the seizure of:

  • 36 grams of suspected cocaine
  • 247 suspected methamphetamine tablets
  • 95, 5mg suspected Percocet pills
  • $813 in cash
  • Drug trafficking equipment

The estimated street value of the drugs is approximately $6,800.

James Randall Joseph Shank, 61 of North Bay is charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – methamphetamines
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – other drugs
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000

Shank was released on an undertaking with a court date of November 30..
