$26,000 worth of illegal drugs seized. Two arrested

A 41-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman are under arrest for drug trafficking. and police have seized over $26,000 worth of illegal drugs.

As part of an investigation into drug trafficking locally, North Bay Police Service’s Street Crime Unit officers arrested the two accused at a home on Marshall Avenue.

Searches by police located a "significant" amount of illegal drugs, packaging materials, and cash.

Police seized:

  • 119 grams of Fentanyl
  • 18 hydromorphone pills
  • 240 Percocet pills
  • Drug trafficking materials
  • Approximately $ 3,600 cash

The street value of the drugs seized is approximately $26,350.

Jason Paquette, 41, and Tiffany Souliere-Perry, 31, both from North Bay, are charged with:

  • Three counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000

 

Both were held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
