North Bay Police arrested a female for assault yesterday after a woman, who knew the victim, entered a home.
While there, the woman assaulted the victim, at which point the victim fled. Officers arrived at the accused’s residence where she was arrested and charged. Police did not disclose the gender of the victim.
No weapons were used in the assault.
Jasmine Southwind, 22, of North Bay, is charged with:
- Assault
- Fail to comply with a probation order
Southwind was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
