The North Bay U18 AAA Trappers dropped a penalty filled affair 4-1 at the hands of the North Central U18 AAA Predators Sunday afternoon at the Powassan Sportsplex.
Nolan Henry had a pair of goals for the Preds with singles going to Battalion prospect Ryan Fairburn and Jayce Hill added singles for the Preds.
Heath Bradley had the lone goal for the Trappers.
Trappers goalies Logan Coates and Carson Ruddy shared the goaltending duties for the Trappers.
The Trappers opened up the pre-season last Saturday as they dumped the Predators 2-0 at Rotary Place in Orillia.
