The North Bay U18 AAA Trappers continue to roll as they pushed their winning streak to six games with victories over the Sudbury U18 Wolves on Saturday night and the Sudbury U16 Wolves on Sunday afternoon.

On Saturday, Noah Kozmick's third period goal was the difference as the Trappers edged the U18 Wolves 3-2.

It was some Trappers deja-vu as Kozmick was also the hero netting the game winner for the Trappers in a 3-2 overtime win over the U18 Wolves back on October 14 which was the start of the Trappers win streak.

Hudson Prisco-Duquette and Ben Brunton had the other goals while OHL draft prospect Carson Ruddy was stellar in goal for the North Bay AAA squad.

Carter Drigo and Nate Lazarus replied for the U18 Wolves.

On Sunday Bryson Villeneuve had 3 goals and 1 assist as the Trappers dumped the U16 Wolves 6-4.

Brunton also contributed with 2 goals while Preston Seguin-Hutchison added a highlight reel tally for the Trappers in the middle frame.

Carson Ruddy came in relief of Logan Coates in the third period after Wolves forward Ashton Pitawanakwat netted his third of the game early in the third period.

Brett Moxam added a single as the U16 Wolves fall to 1-5 while the Trappers improve to 6-1 and second spot in the Great North U18 League.

The Trappers are back in action this weekend as they participate in the Big Nickel Tournament in Sudbury starting this Thursday.
